Embracing the principle that "An Aggie does not lie, cheat, or steal, or tolerate those who do," our organization ensures it is upheld. Our values align with the PRSSA Code of Ethics, which prioritizes advocacy, honesty, expertise, independence, loyalty, and fairness.

We are a part of the national organization (PRSSA), which is made up of more than 11,000 students and advisers organized into 300-plus chapters all across the United States, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru. We are headquartered in New York City, and led by a National Committee of PRSSA and PRSA members. PRSSA has a rich history of support from our parent organization, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), which provides professional development, networking opportunities, and publications.

  • PRSSA stands for Public Relations Student Society of America.

  • Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is a nationwide pre-professional organization that has over 300 chapters and it is affiliated with Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Texas A&M University has it’s very own PRSSA chapter that provides members with a variety of resources to flourish in the field of communication.

  • PRSSA is open to ALL majors at Texas A&M University who have in interest in public relations, marketing, advertising, social media, or other communication related fields

  • PRSSA hosts of a variety of events, including professional development workshops, guest speaker panels, agency tours, and social events to help members grow and connect within the field of communication.

  • Meetings are every other Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Harrington Education Center Classroom (HECC) 203.

  • The dues are $55 and they cover both the Fall and Spring semesters of the academic year. The dues are paid via Flywire and the link can be found on our Linktree.
